Open Studio Access

MudLab – Maastricht

Open Studio is designed for returning students and independent makers who want dedicated time to practice and develop their ceramic work in a calm, focused studio environment.

This is supervised studio access — not a guided class. You will work independently, while an artist is present for general oversight and light support if needed.

A space to deepen your skills, build consistency, and continue your creative journey.

Who Can Join

Open Studio is available to:

• Students who have completed a course at MudLab

• Makers with prior wheel-throwing experience

• Participants confident in centering and working independently

What’s Included

• Use of pottery wheels

• Access to studio tools

• Shared shelving space during your booking period

• Kiln access

Clay can be purchased at the studio.

Glazing & firing: €4 per kg

Studio Guidelines

To ensure a smooth shared environment:

• Maximum 4 participants per session

• Clean your wheel and workspace after use

• Respect shared shelves and drying areas
  

Open Studio is a focused working space. Participants are expected to work independently and responsibly.
